Hurricane Harvey Relief

Attention Students:

If you have been displaced by the storm, in an area with limited or no Internet access, or have been called into active-duty, please call 210-702-2402 or send an email to eapadvising@uiwtx.edu to discuss options with your advisor.

Let’s Work Together in Purpose

Part of our mission at the University of the Incarnate Word and the Division of Extended Academic Programs is to cultivate concerned and enlightened citizens within the global community through education and community service. Therefore, we urge all of our students and community to get involved, serve, and contribute to the Hurricane Harvey recovery effort in any way you can. To support the San Antonio Food Bank's efforts and in collaboration with the Ettling Center for Civic Leadership, several UIW main campus departments and professional schools, the Extended Academic Programs will have bins at each respective campus for donations.

Most needed items are:

  • nonperishable food
  • water
  • baby food
  • diapers
  • flashlights
  • batteries
  • hygiene items
  • cleaning supplies

Men and Women clothing items (must be new and unused):

  • tops
  • pants
  • socks
  • undergarments
