EAP Scholarship

2014-2015 Spring EAP Nontraditional Scholarship

We will be accepting applications starting Monday, October 13 thru Friday, November 28, 2014

The Fall 2014 EAP Scholarship recipients have been announced


Extended Academic Programs will award up to five tuition waivers not to exceed $2,000 each.

WHO MAY APPLY?
Any undergraduate student at the University of the Incarnate Word admitted to and attending the Adult Degree Completion Program or UIW Online and who has achieved the following criteria:

  • Completed 30 semester hours of graded coursework at UIW (Not including transfer credits)
  • Achieved a grade point average of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale on all work taken at UIW
  • Is 23 years of age or older
  • Is enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program at this institution for the Spring 2015 term
  • Has a financial need for assistance to complete the degree

EVALUATION BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • Personal statement
  • Leadership
  • Financial need
  • Community service
  • Professional recommendation
DEADLINE: Completed applications must be submitted by November 28, 2014 to your Academic Advisor.
